Motor symptoms are those that are related to movement, such as tremor, freezing and rigidity.
A rating scale is a means of providing information on a particular feature by assigning a value to it. In Parkinson’s, rating scales require the ‘rater’.
Exercise is important for everyone but this is particularly true if you have Parkinson's because muscles and joints can become stiff and weak as a result of your symptoms.
Over time, medication may no longer effectively control Parkinson’s symptoms. In some carefully selected cases, surgery may help.
