Part II

The EPDA Charter launched in 1997 on the first World Parkinson’s Disease Day states:

People with Parkinson's disease have the right to:

  1. Be referred to a doctor with a special interest in Parkinson's disease

  2. Receive an accurate diagnosis

  3. Have access to support services

  4. Receive continuous care; and

  5. Take part in managing the illness

The second part of this pan-European survey examines in more detail the availability of support services for people with Parkinson’s.

The survey was live between 12 April 2011 (European Day of Action) and 13 November 2011.
