The EPDA’s annual General Assembly (GA) weekend is the official meeting of the EPDA’s member organisations and is a high point in their respective calendars. In the last few years, workshops have become an integral part of the EPDA’s GA activities. They provide the ideal opportunity for all parties to work together, help each other and, just as importantly, to understand the many differences that exist in different countries throughout Europe.
The next General Assembly will be held in Luxembourg, Friday 19 - Sunday 21 September 2014.
Learning in Partnership (LiP) workshops
Launched in 2008, LiP is designed to encourage national Parkinson’s organisations (EPDA members) to share experiences with each other in order to improve services that benefit people with Parkinson’s and their families.
LiP supports those people responsible for the leadership and development of the EPDA members (irrespective of their size and structure) by actively facilitating the exchange of information, expertise and experience that will benefit the national organisations and the people they represent. LiP has gone from strength to strength, and since 2011 the member organisations have chosen the agenda themselves.
Following the EPDA’s increased political activities, the GA’s educational workshops are designed to provide practical advice and resources that will enable the member organisations to develop their own political activities and agendas.
