IAPO - Patients' needs must come first

MHRA warning against illegal 'herbal supplement'
Beline capsules cannot legally be sold in the UK and contain various undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients. Analysis of samples revealed that the product, which claimed to be herbal, actually contained chlorphenamine, an antihistamine to treat allergies, oxetacaine, a local anaesthetic, piroxicam, used for pain relief, and the steroid betamethasone.
