Making Choices in Health Care survey

16 November 2012

ECAB - Evaluating Care Across Borders
LSE - The London School of Economics and Political Science

The London School of Economics (LSE) is carrying out a survey aimed to improve health care systems in Europe.

The online survey is part of a series of pan-European studies that are examining a range of health and long-term care issues in the Evaluating Care Across Borders (ECAB) project funded by the European Commission and managed by the London School of Economics and Political Science. In particular, with this online survey they would like to: investigate patients' perspectives on what information is needed to choose a health care provider, and report on their access to information when choosing health care providers; and examine patients' preferences when choosing health care services.

ANYONE can complete this survey.  It takes around 10 - 15 minutes to complete and the sooner it is completed the better.

Preliminary results on the project were presented by LSE at the European Public Health Conference 2012 in Malta 7-10 November. Further results will be presented early next year.

The more data collected the more chance of a positive change.
