The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research joins multinational critical path for Parkinson's Consortium
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF), with Parkinson's UK and the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) in Tucson, Arizona, announce that MJFF has joined the Critical Path for Parkinson's Consortium (CPP). The consortium aims to create a quantitative model of Parkinson's progression from its earliest stages that will allow researchers to optimize clinical trial design for faster and more effective testing of novel therapies.

NeuroDerm announces patient enrolment in long-term safety trial of ND0612 4 Parkinson's disease
NeuroDerm Ltd. (Nasdaq: NDRM), a clinical stage pharmaceutical company developing drugs for central nervous system (CNS) disorders, today announced the start of patient enrollment in a long-term safety study (trial 012) of the company's continuously administered subcutaneous levodopa/carbidopa (LD/CD) formulation used in both ND0612H and ND0612L.

Tony Seidl - Cycling 519 kilometers with Parkinson's
On average about 48kms that is the distance that Tony Seidl will cycle every day during his 11 day tour from Altoetting, Germany to Padua, Italy. For most people this would already be a challenge but the 49-year old patient from Altoetting, Upper Bavaria will start this tour despite having Parkinson's.
