Launch in 2006, EPDA Plus was the EPDA’s flagship publication. Aimed at keeping its member organisations, healthcare professionals, policymakers and anyone with an interest in Parkinson’s up to date on the key political, economic, social, technological and health developments in the world of Parkinson’s, EPDA Plus was an exciting, innovative, reliable and thought-provoking magazine that contained impartial news, features and expert opinion.
Published in January, May and September each year, the magazine has expanded dramatically since 2010: issues 13 to 20 were translated from English into French, German, Italian and Spanish (these issues are still available online), and it has also increased to 32 pages due to its growing popularity. In addition, the magazine enjoyed a redesign in May 2012 to coincide with the EPDA’s ongoing brand refresh and 20th anniversary celebrations.
From issue 21 onwards, EPDA Plus reverted to English only due to lack of funding and eventually ceased publication with issue 24.
