Breakfast Media event
In September, alongside the
European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS) Congress in
Florence, the EPDA held a media briefing to challenge the
misunderstandings that still surround Parkinson’s, highlighting the
growing economic burden and human costs caused by failings in diagnosis
and management of the condition.
The EPDA outlined new plans
to extend their current awareness campaign to encourage medical
professionals, politicians and the general public to take action, and
improve the treatment and management of Parkinson’s across Europe.
