As Parkinson's disease progresses, the effectiveness of drug treatment can decrease over
time and symptoms can re-emerge. We know this as wearing-off.
When these
periods of wearing off occurs, some people cannot move as freely as before, for example they feel their feet are glued to the floor when they want to walk. In this section, we see physiotherapy in practice, using cues, exercises and techniques that help to restore movement, maintain
